Documentation Required

Tourist Visa Documentation:

 

The following documentation is required in order complete your TOURIST visa application:

 

  • Your current passport (this must be valid for at least 6 months, otherwise we won't be able to process it)

  • 1x recent photos

  • Air ticket

  • Hotel booking (including name and address of hotel)

  • If the visa is for someone under 18 years of age then a birth certificate and passports from both parents are required. 

 

If you are planning on travelling to multiple destinations in China in a single trip, please contact us first as we need to explain the flight and hotel booking requirements further.

 

Business Visa Documentation:

 

The following documentation is required in order complete your BUSINESS visa application:

 

  • Your current passport (this must be valid for at least 6 months, otherwise we won't be able to process)

  • 1x recent photos

  • Invitation letter from a company based in China (this must show your company name, traveller's name, passport number, the purpose of visit, when you're arriving and leaving in China, where you are staying and your financial support during your stay). These must be printed on official company letter with a stamp and have a signature from the senior manager.

 

Please ensure you bring the following documentation with to our head office in order for us to process your application. Also, please note that different documentation is required for different visa types. Please note invitation letters MUST be on paper, emails will not be accepted.

Visiting Family Visa Documentation:

 

The following documentation is required if you are visiting family and are staying in a private property (i.e. not a hotel)

 

  • Your current passport (this must be valid for at least 6 months, otherwise we won't be able to process it)

  • 1x recent photos

  • Invitation letter from a permanent resident in China (This must include: Full name, gender, date of birth, purpose of visit to China, date of arriving and leaving China, you destination in China, relation to host, source of financial support during stay in China, information of host, which must also include:

Name, contact number and address, host signature and ID number (if they are non-Chinese then a copy of their passport and visa/permit).

 

Student Visa Documentation:

 

The following documentation is required if you planning on studying in China

 

  • Your current passport (this must be valid for at least 6 months and be valid during the duration of your study)

  • 1x recent photos

  • Invitation/acceptance letter from the school or university in China, printed with their stamp on.

  • JW202 form - This is provided by the school or university you have enrolled at. If you have not received it please contact their admissions deparment to request one as the Chinese Embassy and ourselves do not supply this.
